With a service speed of 22 knots and capacity for 120 unaccompanied units the vessel is the first of 4 new buildings from Spain which will enter service over the coming year. Commenting on the Clipper Point Kevin Hobbs CEO said: "We are delighted that the arrival of the Clipper Point is now just days away. She is a fantastic vessel and we cannot wait to finally get her into service. The Point will enter service almost 12 years to the day since the first ever Seatruck sailing from Warrenpoint in 1996. We firmly believe that with these vessels we can provide a new level of both capacity and schedule reliability on our middle corridor routes." |
