Job Vacancy - Terminal Driver/Lasher at Warrenpoint Port
Seatruck Ferries is a UK-based company which offers Irish sea freight-ferry only services, with circa 70 sailings per week, across 3 routes (Liverpool-Dublin, Heysham-Dublin, Heysham-Warrenpoint) and 4 ports (Liverpool, Heysham, Dublin, Warrenpoint). There are currently approximately 500 employees across sea and shore, with extra manpower from several contractors.
We are currently looking for a Terminal Driver/Lasher to support us with the loading and unloading of our RoRo vessels.
Job Description
The Role
Duties involve loading and unloading of Ro/Ro vessels, lashing of cargo, mooring of vessels, driving trade vehicles and general terminal activities.
Candidates should be flexible and prepared to work shifts, including weekends. Full and part time contracts available.
The Candidate
Applicants should have a current clean driving licence and at least 3 years’ proven experience in driving heavy plant machinery.
A Class 1 HGV licence would be an advantage.
